APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants for all teaching posts must have:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
     
  • A post graduate certificate in education, a teaching certificate or equivalent.
     
  • Willingness to support the school’s Leadership development, curriculum and Accelerated  Programme, including teaching advanced courses such as APs and SAT IIs. Experience in teaching virtual courses and advanced courses is preferred.
     
  • Two professional references.
     
  • Willingness to support after-school activities.
     
  • Ability to stand and sit, when required, for extended periods to appropriately teach, access all areas of campus, and lift objects up to 15 pounds.
     
  • Successful applicants will be expected to make a commitment to work in harmony with Christian principles and to support the emphases of The Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church.
