WELCOME!

It is my tremendous honour to be named the 15th Principal of Queen’s College, the premier educational institution of The Bahamas. Queen’s College is a special place. I look forward to creating strong and collaborative relationships with the students, staff and parents of this great community. We are very proud of our rich traditions and of the educational accomplishments of our students, faculty, and alumni. As a member of this vibrant community, I am especially motivated to sustain the positive culture of excellence throughout our campus.

At Queen’s College, we strive to ensure our children are engaged in an environment focused on high expectations reflecting academic, social and emotional development. As a comprehensive school, we believe that every child has the potential to achieve a personal level of success. We have high expectations of our students, and we ensure that our staff participates in professional development in order to help all students learn and grow into well-rounded citizens and become critical thinkers.

Bearing the designation as a 'Lighthouse School', the first in the English-speaking Caribbean, we believe that all students are leaders and, therefore, fully embrace ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ and ‘The Leader In Me’ throughout our campus, using these values to create the most beneficial learning experience for our students.

Our partnership with our families and community is an integral part of the success of Queen’s College. We encourage you to become involved, whether through our Parent/Teacher Association (PTA), Alumni Association, or one of the many committees or support groups who commit to the ongoing development of our school. Your feedback and support are essential to our continued improvement. I am excited about the partnerships we will build this school year. Together, we will make this the best year yet. Go QC Comets!
