¡BIENVENIDOS! / BIENVENUS! / WELCOME!

The Modern Languages Department is constantly abuzz with activity.  Here you can always find something exciting going on.  We pride ourselves on the fact that we endeavour to bring the world to our classroom and our classroom to the world.

With newly initiated programs and with on-going successes, our department provides fantastic opportunities for one to learn French and Spanish.

Our students have travelled extensively across Europe since the summer of 1996 and embarked upon immersion stays in Mexico and Quebec.  This year brings the exciting promise of home stay in Costa Rica and Montreal for our students involved in the Fast Forward Programmes.

Our very exciting Fast Forward programme focuses the intelligence and enthusiasm of our very best students from Grades 8 through 11 and is designed to maximize fluency in Spanish and French.  Our ultimate aim is to prepare these students for home stay in Costa Rica and France.

Our proud relationship with the Alliance Française des Bahamas, continues through our in-house Oral Proficiency Programme in French.
