Queen’s College seeks to remain one of the finest schools in the nation. We are now accepting applications for teachers for September 2010 in the following areas:

  • Early Learning Centre (Ages 3-5)
    Classroom Teachers
  • Primary School (Grades 1-6).
    Physical Education
  • High School (Grades 7-12).
    Physics

Application Requirements

Applicants for all posts must have:

bullet a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject area
bullet a Post-graduate Certificate in Education, or teacher certificate.  A certified copy  of the relevant degrees and teacher certificates must accompany the application. 
bullet the names and relevant contact information of at least two professional references should also be listed.  Applications from unqualified persons and or incomplete applications will not be processed.
bullet Persons offered appointments will be expected to make a commitment to work in harmony with Christian principles and to support the emphases of the Bahamas Conference of The Methodist Church of which the school is a part.
bullet All High School Posts require a willingness to support the school’s Accelerated Programme and to teach or receive training to teach advanced courses such as Advanced Placement and Advanced Subsidiary. Experience in teaching advanced courses is preferred.
