Clubs & Activities

Looking for something to do?  Our school

could easily publish a “What’s On” magazine. The campus is constantly abuzz with activity; a club at every turn; a meeting in every classroom.  Our aim at QC is to keep the students involved; to encourage them to participate and to become more socially conscious and to develop leadership abilities that are the hallmark of the QC graduate.

Our clubs range from student-centered hubs such as our chess, games and debate clubs to our sponsored organizations such as The Student Credit Union, The Interact Club, The Anchor Club and The Key Club.  We also take pride in our School Band, which continues to make quite a name for itself on the local scene.  None of these interests you?  Then take your pick from The Girl Guides, The Student Representative Council, The Environment Club, The Home Economics Club, The Student Christian Movement, The Governor General’s Youth Award Scheme, The Cricket Club, The Drama Club or The Yearbook Committee.  With all these and many more, there’s never a dull moment in the life of the high school student.
Our school is fortunate in having its own Brownie pack, the 20th  Brownie pack. Presently there are about fifty active Brownies. Meetings are held weekly and the girls earn badges, participate in island wide activities and camps and are active in community work.

The Sunflowers group is open to girls from the ages of four to six and is a preparatory stage for entrance to the Brownies.
